Child Care Providers Together AFSCME/CCP Conference
Join your sister and brother child care colleagues for “Grow Your World.” This conference is for members of AFSCME Ohio Council 8, Child Care Provider Locals.
The purpose of the conference is to combine fun and relaxation with training. During the conference you can complete your required renewal training and hear the latest information on the ODJFS rules and Step Up to Quality (SUTQ.) Learn techniques on creating a safe, fun learning environment and network with fellow providers across the state and key leaders in the field. Benefits to attendees include a formal and informal opportunity for learning and sharing and to get continuing education units (CEU).
The conference will provide speakers from the Bureau of Child Care about the changing regulations, the president of AFSCME Ohio Council 8 and others. The conference will specifically offer training for Family Child Care Providers. Vendors will showcase educational materials, personal products and AFSCME PEOPLE products.

Reference “AFSCME Child Care Provider Conference.” Room rates are $86 per night (single or double) plus tax. (Rooms are first come first served – Cut-off date for reservations is September 5, 2012.
